A Trip Down Antiquity Lane

For many years the land where Antiquity sits now was a 250 acre dairy farm. Field Street ran through the middle of the property. Both the Torrence then the Bumgarner families rented the house on the farm.

For almost 28 years my Mom, Sarah Hall Robbins Conard, rented the 33 acre pasture on the right side of Field Street to keep her horses in. The rent was $25.00 a month! Many long time residents now say often, Jim Bumgarner would be lost if he came back to Cornelius now looking for his milk barn!

I live here in Old Town Cornelius and absolutely love our area's unique character. My life's calling is to work to bring art and culture to the forefront of everyday life. I work full-time for Bella Love, Inc and taking care of my adorable son, Kipton.
